Evansville Day School partners with Red Cross to host blood drive
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Due to a national blood shortage, Evansville Day School is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive.
The blood drive is taking place on Tuesday at Evansville Day School from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Officials at the school say they’ve been hosting the drive for over two years to help stock local blood banks.
School officials say it’s important for community members to donate.
“If we can do our part to help in getting extra pints for people to use,” said Evansville Day School official, Lauren Barker. “Anything helps even if its someone first time donating... they’re welcome to either sign up to come in or they can just walk in.”
