Raiders sign former KWC wide receiver Keelan Cole to one-year deal
OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - The Las Vegas Raiders are adding former Kentucky Wesleyan wide receiver Keelan Cole to the roster.
On Thursday, the Raiders announced the veteran wideout is signing a one-year deal.
Cole started 11 games last season for the New York Jets, catching 28 passes for 449 yards and a touchdown.
The former KWC standout is entering his sixth season in the league after he went undrafted in 2017.
Making his NFL debut with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cole unexpectedly led the way as a rookie with 748 receiving yards for a team that eventually made it to the AFC championship game. This feat marks as the most receiving yards by an undrafted rookie in franchise history.
He played four years in Jacksonville before joining the Jets in 2021.
For his career, Cole has appeared in 79 games, recording 187 receptions for 2,691 yards and 13 touchdowns.
